There are six Prime Facets of marketing that need to be understood well in terms of strategizing the way in which one needs to market the product. The six Prime Facets of marketing are: Research, Merchandising, Advertising, Sales Promotion, Selling and lastly Public Relations. All of the mentioned prime facets of marketing will be applied.

Research

Research is a significant ingredient when it comes to public relations and as well as when marketing the product. Research as being one of the prime facet of marketing it includes the research about consumers, the product and lastly the attitude on how will the consumers perceive the product that the market is selling (Skinner, 2013).

Merchandising

When looking at merchandising is the way in which the innovative ways are put into practice so as to present the final product to its best advantage. By using the innovative ways in terms of lighting, sound, pricing, effective packaging design and colour (Skinner, 2013).

Advertising

Advertising as a prime facet of marketing it has to be aligned in being presented perfectly, a s good advertisement turn to sell the most. When advertising the new Nike shoe for an example, online advertising, pamphlets, and flyers will be taken into considerations, as they are all tools of marketing (Skinner, 2013).

Sales Promotion

It is very important to make use of sales promotion in a market so as to grab the attention of customers, by making use of product launches, fashion shows and special deals. Different types of sales promotion will make the customers to know about features of the product before even buying the product (Skinner, 2013).

Selling

Stating the actual place where the new product will be sold so that customers know exactly where to go when they need that particular product. Also is very vital to let the potential customers to know the options that will be used to sell the product, if the online process will be implemented the customers needs to know that (Skinner, 2013).

Public Relations

Marketing and public relations are the core functions of the company. The aim of both marketing department and public relations is to satisfy the needs of the targeted segments. Therefore the role of the public relation officer will be reflected mostly when it comes to the research stages as they will be the once constructing the surveys, working hand in hand with the department of marketing (Skinner, 2013).
