Welcome to the first product review of 2020 here on my blog! :D

I've been using this cushion since December of last year and I actually like it!

Club Clio Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP is a great cushion find of mine because aside from the long- lasting, buildable coverage that stays lightweight no matter how many layers I put, it has high SPF content as well to keep my skin protected; it also has a shade that fits morena skin tone. Yay!

Club Clio Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP promises 48-hour, high coverage with a velvety matte finish. It has Centella Asiatica extract that soothes and hydrates the skin, and has whitening and wrinkle repair benefits.

I read that this is an upgraded version of Kill Cover Founwear Cushion. I have not used that so I couldn't make a comparison, but I have learned that the difference between this and the first one is it has longer staying power.

The product may be a bit expensive, but it comes with a refill; this is the usual case for K-beauty cushion products so it's not really expensive TBH because you get two for the price of one.

The product comes with a chic black puff. To get the product out, you have to press a button near the compact's closure. However, I find the compact a bit sensitive because it spews out some product if you accidentally touch the surface of the compact; this is why I keep the sticker seal on.

The inside. Pleased to know that it is saturated with the product! I've had many cushion products in the past and some felt dry even if they were new! :(

One of my biggest problems with cushion compacts is the lack of shade options available for warm skin tone. I don't actually remember if Club Clio had options for warm skin tone with this product before, but I'm happy to discover that shade

6; it's a warm beige shade with a neutral undertone.

It has a light, emulsion- like texture; it's very easy to spread, feels like moisturizer, and virtually unscented.

Coverage is medium to heavy; it feels pretty lightweight on the skin and is pigmented so I don't have

to use a concealer or corrector anymore on my light post- acne marks; it isn't streaky too and doesn't appear patchy even if I apply the layers one after the other. Finish is semi- matte and sets pretty well on the skin, but still remains breathable.

6 somewhat fits my skin tone, but there is a hint of lightness due to the high SPF content; not bothersome and it's absolutely easy to remedy with bronzer so it's no biggie for me.

Regarding staying power, it stays the whole day with little to no fading; my t-zone would oil up after 4-5 hours of wear and that's pretty impressive in my books!

This cushion product is currently my favorite because it hits my 3 requirements for a good liquid base: 1. Long- lasting 2. Good coverage and by this, I mean it can cover my post- acne marks by at least 3. Has shades for warm skin tone.

I gave up on cushion compacts a year ago because I got tired of looking for something that has a shade for me, but as they say, hope always comes at the 11th hour--this is my 11th hour product and I'm glad I got to try it!

Which Clio cushion is best for dry skin?

The Verdict: CLIO has always been a brand that has super strong colour products – their lipsticks are super pigmented, their foundations are super high in terms of coverage. For this product, even though it is pretty lightweight and watery, the coverage is pretty decent – on the medium-to-high end of the scale.

This is a water-based cover product that gives a seamless glow without any greasiness. Not a vague shine, but a radient glow that varies depending on the base product and skin condition.
