The package contains 14 individually wrapped sets of strips, with a strip for bottom and top teeth in each set. Unlike earlier iterations of whitening strips that we've tried, the strip for the bottom set is contoured to focus on the bottom front teeth, while the strip for the top is longer. The strips are surprisingly dry to the touch after peeling off; they adhere easily to teeth and stick for the full half-hour. Other than the faint telltale taste of plastic, there is no discernible taste. Once they come off, there's that icky white goop, but nothing a thorough rinse and brushing can't get rid of. WHY WE LIKE THEM: Unlike the original version that we first tried years ago, Crest has perfected the adhesiveness of the strips so they don't fall off after a few minutes. We noticed substantial brightening of teeth after only four nights of use. After about a week, we experienced slight tooth sensitivity, similar to that feeling you have after a dental cleaning. And after finishing the pack, our teeth were definitively whiter than if we'd just used a whitening toothpaste. The other crest was ok, but I didn’t like it either. This one was on sale at Walmart and I thought I’d give it a go. I love it. My teeth were more whitened after a couple days and I wasn’t ever conscious after eating pungent foods because my breath would not smell. And I didn't. I've had a slightly yellow tinted smile for years, only the past few years I stopped being a shithead and started to focus more on brushing. I love the white series from Colgate. I tried this toothpaste for a month and I'm hooked! II drink coffee daily so my teeth tend to not be as white over time, but by using this toothpaste everyday for a month, I really see a difference! My teeth are brighter, and it doesn't hurt them at all - I don't have sensitive teeth but I do have sensitive gums and it didn't affect them at all!
