So, when I recently decided to go off of birth control, my hormones were completely thrown out of whack, causing my face to be riddled with pimples and dark acne scars. The brightening face serum from Kiehl’s is formulated with vitamin C to even out the skin's complexion, while salicylic acid, reduces the appearance of sun and age spots, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. The ingredient also minimizes discoloration and eliminates texture on the skin's surface. The areas of sun damage and hyperpigmentation I've been using this on twice a day started to fade by around day 10. I've still a way to go, but they are less noticeable, and the difference to before use is actually remarkable! This is gentle, it's not a peel or abrasive product, I can't believe it can be so gentle and make such a difference! I always considered Kiehl's out of my price range, but actually the price is really reasonable and I think by the time I've used the bottle, the areas I'm concerned about will be vastly improved - so well worth the money! I have dark spots on my cheeks and dark nose bruises from wearing my reading glasses constantly. I bought the 14 oz. bottle just to see if it works. I been using it for a month now applying it 2 times a day, in the morning and before bedtime and the dark spots and nose bruises from my glasses is slowly fading away. Not sure about freckles though I think with the price skin laser can help better with freckles.
