Depends on your goal. Bonus multipliers depend on both your highest and your total MPLs. So by using the same school each time you neglect increasing the total. But the main bonus comes from the highest MPL so if you have other reasons to choose the same school and you still increase your highest MPL you won't lose much. There is also a bonus to starting exp which depends on each school's MPL, so schools that you neglect won't gain it but it is also not very important in a long run. So as long as you have some important reason why you don't want to switch schools, you can do that, but if you don't then it is better to switch to increase each school's MPL. I try to switch schools but I already visited one which I played already before playing each of them once because of a certain feature that happens at level 30 and because that school is one of the most important (Conjuration) and I left it at just level 9 in the very first run.  new school for a while but only because each school can contribute to the multiplier on retirement. specifically each school that is the primary one contributes to the multiplier IF it is higher than it has ever been while being the primary school (otherwise the previous highest level remains the contributor) so you want to pick each one at least once so it can HAVE a max primary level in all of them. even if it isnt too particularly high Ahh thank you both!
