Tuition, Fees and Financial Aid

Once you have registered for the summer 2023 term, Basic Tuition and Fees will populate on your my. SDSU account during the week of May 8, 2023. Be sure to review your Financial Account tile for the Summer 2023 Payment Deadline

Use this guide to find the courses that will help you fulfill General Education (GE) and graduation requirements and stay on pace.  Summer courses are encouraged especially for students finishing year one with 24 - 29 units, year two with 54 - 59 units, or year three with 84 - 89 units.  Many GE options are available--check out the schedule summaries below

San Diego State University summer courses can help you get ahead in your coursework and stay connected to your professors and the campus over the summer . SDSU offers a twelve week term (T1) and four sessions ranging from four to eight weeks in length (S1-4) to fit your summer schedule.

What is the maximum summer units for SDSU?

Students can enroll in a maximum of 18 units during the summer term, with no more than 9 units in each six-week summer session (S1 and S2) or 18 units in the thirteen-week session (T1).

How many students attend San Diego State University 2023?

Each year, SDSU provides more than 36,000 students with the opportunity to participate in an academic curriculum distinguished by direct contact with faculty and an international emphasis that prepares them for a global future.

Does financial aid cover summer classes SDSU?

SDSU Global Campus You will be evaluated for summer financial aid if registered at least half-time and in at least one summer session . Half-time means 6 units for undergraduate students and students in a teaching credential program or 5 units for graduate students.
