Tickets for 2023 British Grand Prix are on sale but many fans have reported that they are experiencing issues with purchasing passes.

The much-anticipated general sale for next year’s Silverstone race started today (Thursday, September 15) and F1 viewers flocked to get their tickets.

Here’s everything you need know about the 2023 British Grand Prix, including information about tickets and their prices.

How to buy 2023 F1 British Grand Prix tickets

Tickets for 2023 British Grand Prix were released on Thursday, September 15 with a priority for members before the general sale started.

Friday tickets start from £89, Saturday passes are from £129, while Sunday tickets start from £179. Three-day tickets (Friday-Sunday) begin from £229.

Tickets can be purchased on Silverstone’s official website where prices are based on the type of seating and grid view.

However, many fans have reported that they are experiencing technical issues with the website and haven’t been able to purchase their tickets.

Silverstone acknowledged the issue on Twitter and wrote: “We’re sorry some fans are experiencing problems purchasing tickets for the F1 British Grand Prix. We’re experiencing unprecedented traffic on our site causing delays, we want to get your booking on track as quickly as possible, we’re doing all we can to solve this & cut wait time.”

F1 experiences and packages

Apart from general tickets, fans can also purchase a number of different packages on F1 experiences‘ website.

One of the packages, called the ‘Hamilton Straight North, includes a three-day pass to next year’s Silverstone race, a pit lane walk, guided track tour and other extras. It costs £1,560.95.

Another package, the ‘Champions Club 3-Days’ gives fans access to premium trackside views, premium seating, a grid walk, as well as the chance to meet and speak to a F1 driver. This one costs £2,602.17.

When is the race?

The 2023 British Grand Prix will take place on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July 2023. 

This year’s Grand Prix races are 22 in total, while the number of races for next year are yet to be officially confirmed.
