There's no doubt the DEEPCOOL MATREXX 55 MESH ADD-RGB 4F is a tremendously well-priced case. You are getting a mesh front option with 4x ARGB fans for under 6K (under 5K with discounts in my case). However, there are some things to consider before purchase.

The mesh front offers potentially great airflow. However, there is a second air filter placed behind the mesh front panel, which obstructs a lot of the air. It seems removable in my case, so maybe it could be done away with entirely if you want better airflow. The front mesh is already quite fine and stacking two fine meshes only helps obstruct airflow.

The 4x ARGB fans light up in various colors. They aren't particularly fast but they are reasonably quiet even at max speed. The light patterns when used with the RGB button on the case are limited with no static on option for any color. Fortunately, you can always plug them into the ADD RGB port on your motherboard (if available) for finer control over the color and pattern.

The tempered glass side panel is great for showcasing the build. However, the glass panel is held together by four screws with no additional lip at the bottom. This is not a door but a panel you need to remove entirely every time you want to get into the case. And remove carefully at that, as it's held in place loosely once the screws are off.

The right side panel on my case was so tightly jammed that it took several minutes to pry off the first time. It was so tight it almost seemed like it wasn't supposed to come off.

Underneath the side panel, DEEPCOOL has created a complicated spider web of cables. It's understandable that each of the four ARGB fans will have two cables each, so eight cables in total. But there are also several adapters hanging around along with the Molex connector for power. The trick is to just ignore all of that, find the fan connectors in all the mess and just plug those into the motherboard. Additional adapters are included in the box.

The front panel isn't difficult to pry off but needs to be done carefully. The connectors on the ARGB module inside the front panel has extremely weak connectors and was already bent in my case. Even a small amount of force could snap the connectors off, which would kill the ARGB functionality through the case switch.

The rest of the case is also fairly cheaply built. There are no rubber grommets, the PCIe covers on the back had to be bent and then snapped out of the metal (which is permanent and cannot be put back together), and the thumb screws are all over torqued and cannot be opened without a screwdriver. Inside, the hard drive trays also require tools to secure it in place inside the rudimentary metal tray.

The hard drive cage is also a bit too close to the PSU, which shouldn't be a problem if you have a non-modular PSU but modular PSUs with all their cables sticking out become difficult to slide in.

Lastly, the user manual is absolutely useless. It's two pages and has fewer details than the back of most shampoo bottles.

All of this means it's not a great building experience inside this case. However, for most of you, that will be a one time experience so it shouldn't be too much of a consideration. Once built, there isn't too much to fault with this case. Airflow is decent with the stock fans and the front filter in place and the RGB illumination is also quite good. For the price, this is still a fantastic deal overall and possibly the best option in this price range.
