Show The first thing is that my packaging is not really eye catching. It looks just like a regular shower gel. The same type of flap turned upside down and back like that. Uh! Then, pour cream on hand, I found the cream is quite smooth and soft. This time I feel like toothpaste haha. Joking, actually this cream of the child so well. Permeability is also quite fast. The thick texture is so opaquely white, frankly I can’t imagine applying this on my face, but I will use it for darker parts on my body, like knees and stuffs. So, you are supposed to apply this on clean, dry skin, and leave it on for two to three minutes, then rinse (without soap). When rinsing, it felt like trying to get rid of SPF with only water. So yes, the whitening effect is quite impressive, but honestly this product confused me. SNOW WHITE CREAM Contains stearic acid so might not be safe for fungal acne. But this is a very nice moisturizing and brightening face cream to actually brighten up skin tone (also contains niacinamide as one of their ingredients). They claimed that it’s also an ‘all-in-one base cream’ so we can skip BB Cream, makeup base and moisturizer. Lightly scented, the texture inside the jar packaging looks intimidatingly opaque white. But, when applied, there’s when the magic happens. It immediately melted into clear lotion texture when rubbed, absorb nicely and gave a smooth effect (from the silicone as one of their ingredients). I’d love this cream if it’s fungal-acne safe. SNOW WHITE SPOT GEL Unlike the previous two, this comes in a gel texture. If you’ve been reading my blog, you’ll know I have soft spot for gel texture because of my sensitive fungal-acne prone skin. So, no wonder I like this mild and light gel. However, this is not safe for fungal acne because it contains PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. As the name stated, it is a spot gel and they recommend to use this on small areas which need brightening, like armpits, elbows, knees and bikini lines. Interesting products, still playing around with them but I like the cream, it makes my face feel nice and gives it a more even and snowy complexion, I wouldn't say it makes your skin white really, just slightly lightens. I do think it aids in lightening/evening skin tone over time as well. I used it pretty consistently for about a week or two and my skin seemed to even out a teensy bit. So it works, but slowly. The milky pack is a whole different animal. But also very interesting. I bought this in hopes of it helping to lighten my skin enough for my cosplay of Liv Moore from iZombie. It did work but I don't think it lightened it enough for this particular character. Her skin is super pale, basically white so I can't be too disappointed as that skin tone is a bit difficult to achieve with natural looking results. It would definitely work for other characters whose skin has more of a pale ghostly appearance rather than straight white. It is important to understand how to apply this product though, because when I first got it, I didn't read the directions and ended up using it wrong, which didn't turn out well. But then I read the directions and found some other reviews and video tutorials about how to apply it correctly (applying a thin layer, waiting a few minutes, then rinsing it off), and that worked a whole lot better. This stuff gives your skin this white cast, it looks bit chalky, which may or may not be good depending on what you're using it for. For me it was a good thing! Is Snow White cream effective?Overall, Secret Key's Snow White Cream is an excellent primer, and is especially useful when you're too lazy to put on makeup but still want to look naturally radiant.
