Western skincare? $20 for 50ml of moisturizer gel. Asian skincare? $20 for 180ml of moisturizer gel. However, while I've used lots of good Asian moisturizers before, I simply don't know what to make of this moisturizer. This is a lightweight moisturizer gel. It dries to a sort of powdery-matte finish, which is huge for me because most moisturizers leave my oily skin feeling greasy. I'm using it while on tretinoin and I haven't experienced any extreme dryness like I typically did. Unfortunately, I've been suspecting this product is breaking me out but I can't tell for sure because I've always had stubborn acne. This moisturizer always leaves a weird film on my hands after applying that takes awhile to wash off. I suspect this is the silicones, but I've used other silicone moisturizers that don't have this problem. This is a little concerning for me because imagining that film resting over your face all day doesn't sound especially good for your skin. This also contains vitamin C, though I don't think it's that much because it hasn't helped at all for brightening my skin. In fact, I would go as far as to say that the vitamin C in this is useless and only serves to act as a potential irritant for your skin. The tub design is not appealing either. Since it contains so much product, it's really easy to scoop out too much moisturizer. I haven't seen a single person mentioning this moisturizer breaking them out. I'm a little doubtful too if it is breaking me out as I haven't gotten any pimples on my cheeks. But as mentioned earlier, the film it leaves on my hands is concerning...
