Hybrid Drivers: The XR8i Hybrid features a single KG-723 balanced armature tweeter for natural sounding vocals and clear high frequencies. In addition, the KG-065, a custom 6.5mm dual magnet dynamic driver (a true downward-firing subwoofer), reproduces low sub-bass frequencies that are not traditionally heard in a pair of headphones. Materials: The ear buds are made of sturdy die-cast zinc on the front housing, which provides the optimal weight to keep them in place. The rear housing features a co-molded elastomer, with a rigid inner layer and a soft, pliable outer layer.
