One of the best aspects of Median XL is the large number of unique skills on every character: each class comes with 8 skill trees of brand new abilities. Experiment with many unique builds such as Melee Sorceress, Blood Amazon and more.

New items

ARPGs are all about finding the best item combination for your build. Median XL offers thousands of brand new items for you to acquire through farming, boss killing and crafting. There is so much diversity that you can easily build unique characters focusing on item-only skills or even proc skills.

Endgame quests

Median XL Endgame does not involve killing slightly stronger versions of the same monsters you've already beaten over and over again, but is a completely new and challenging experience. The endgame features over 50 new quests which involve defeating deadly bosses, efficiently farming new areas and uncovering many secrets.

New areas to discover

Median XL features dozens of new locations. Always loyal to the Diablo lore, you can find new areas such as Heaven and the realms of Hell, the new town of Caldeum and fallen cities such as Duncraig, Viz-jun and Toraja. In Assault on Mount Arreat dungeon, you travel back in time and play as Diablo while trying to defeat the Bear Tribe in order to break into the Worldstone Chamber.

Crafting System

Our crafting system offers a myriad of possibilities to tailor every piece of your equipment to your needs. Apply a limited amount of bonus stats to any equipment slot via Mystic Orbs purchaseable from vendors, with unique drop only versions providing great power. Rare items can be shrine crafted with custom stats according to your needs to create something truly spectacular.

Median XL là một bản mod lâu năm dành cho Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Trải qua hàng chục phiên bản và hàng chục season ladder, Median XL đã trải qua bản cập nhật lớn 2.0 và hiện đang ở patch 2.3.3.

Làm lại kỹ năng của class

Hệ thống cây kỹ năng của các lớp nhân vật cũ đã được Median XL làm mới hoàn toàn. Các class được nâng lên 8 bảng kỹ năng (thay cho 3 ở bản gốc) với mỗi bảng đều có cách build riêng.

Người chơi sẽ được trải nghiệm một game với bộ kỹ năng hoàn toàn mới, hứa hẹn đem đến cùng một class nhưng khác nhau hoàn toàn.

Thay đổi giao diện

Bản thân Median XL đã là một sự thay đổi giao diện so với bản gốc, nhưng càng về sau cho tới bản 2.0, Median XL lại càng có nhiều sự thay đổi đáng kể. Đến phiên bản hiện tại, giao diện của mọi thứ đều đã được làm mới, kể cả giao diện của lính đánh thuê [P].

Cùng với giao diện làm mới, Median XL đã hỗ trợ những công nghệ tiên tiến nhất với hỗ trợ độ phân giải 4K (upscale), thậm chí lên tới 8K (upscale).

Thay đổi cách chơi

Diablo II có nhiều hạn chế trong cách chơi, nhưng Median XL là một sự giải phóng hoàn toàn. Ở bản mới nhất, Median XL hỗ trợ Shift+Click với cả kỹ năng cận chiến. Nghĩa là người chơi không cần phải chỉ vào quái để test skill nữa.

Nhưng thay đổi lớn nhất ở bản 2.3 phải là quickcast cho phép thi triển nhanh 4 kỹ năng cùng lúc. Người chơi có thể dễ dàng tạo ra những combo hủy diệt quái vật trong chớp mắt.

Endgame content

Với kỹ năng bá đạo, đồ đạc rơi thoải mái, Median XL sẽ là một bản mod nhàm chán nếu không có cách nội dung phá đảo cực khó. Ở bản mới nhất, Median XL bổ sung rất nhiều nhiệm vụ endgame cực khó bao gồm các dungeon cuối gồm hàng chục cái.

Đồ cuối

Cùng với các loại trùm cuối siêu khó, Median XL bổ sung hàng tá rune để tạo ra những Runewords cực mạnh.

Ngoài ra, hệ thống đồ vàng cũng được phân thành Tiered Uniques, Sacred Uniques cũng như bổ sung hàng chục Set đồ xanh mới.
