"I've been to Yummy Thai a couple of times now and haven't been disappointed. The restaurant is in a converted cottage and there are two or three small rooms so it feels quite intimate. The staff all wear traditional dress and are very polite and attentive. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent, very good quality. The set meals are more interesting than you normally get, with some unusual options. It is a little pricey, probably more suitable for a celebratory meal than your average night out. Definitely somewhere to go for a special occasion!"

"Good Chinese and Indian food (Buffet), run by Nepalese staff. Thai dishes are poor. They could do with topping up the buffet containers more as some dishes are empty quite often. Most staff are friendly. The Decor is very naff - shame as it's a nice old building. You have to get your own cuttlery - shame as the waiters just stand most of the time and they could easily do this for you."

On Sundays they do a buffet which was £17.50 per adult. Since covid, the buffet has been table service only but you can still order as much as you want. The food is really tasty, particularly the satay chicken. The restaurant itself however is very outdated and could use some TLC.

  Good place to eat. Staff welcoming and fully COVID compliant. All tables screened of. Excellent choice on menu. Quick efficient service. Food was excellent and arrived in good time. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. All four of us enjoyed our meal. 2 people found this review helpful 👍

  My friend had organised a meal out with other friends to celebrate my birthday... The place was extremely busy. Chose food from set menu to cater for number in our party. Took photos of food as it was served..... It was wonderful !! 2 people found this review helpful 👍

  We have been frequenting Szechuan Inn over the past 5 years and it has not let us down on each and every occasion. Service par excellence! I have not posted the photo of main dish but my firm favourite remains Bok Choy in garlic & oyster sauce with steamed rice.

  The staff are so friendly and service it’s amazing, the food is delicious I love this place so much. I definitely recommend the set menus so you can get a bit of everything. I would go here everyday if I had the money.
