Solution 2 – Sign-Out From Google Drive:

Solution 3 – Disable Extensions That Are Corrupt:

Sometimes there are corrupt extensions that are creating HTTP 403 error. To disable the extensions follow the steps that are given below:

1.Open Chrome and type chrome://extensions in the address bar. 2.Press Enter to start the search. 3.All the chrome extensions will be on the screen. 4.Click on the toggle beside the extensions to disable them. 5.Disable all extensions like this.

When you have disabled all the extensions, check if the problem is resolved. If yes, then enable the extensions one by one. Also, check which extension is creating all the fuss by downloading files after every enable of the extensions. Once you locate the corrupted extension, click on the remove extension option to permanently remove it from the browser.

Solution 4 – Create A Shareable Link Of The File:

If none of the above solutions works, try this solution by creating a shareable link to the file. The HTTP error 403 generally occurs when you try to download the file directly, instead downloading it directly try to download it by creating a shareable link. Follow the steps to do so:

1.Open Google Drive and right-click on the file you want to download. 2.Select the Get Shareable Link option. 3.The shareable link will now be copied on your clipboard. 4.Sign-out of Google Drive and paste the link in the address bar. 5.Press Enter to start the search. 6.The file will open on your screen. 7.Click on the download option to download it to your computer.
