After Blood-C: The Last Dark I’m pretty much through with this franchise 😐 and I’m not really impressed. Blood: The Last Vampire was ok, Blood-C extremely underwhelming and boring and didn’t go anywhere, and latter goes for this movie as well, it’s surprisingly tame (contrary to the show) and slow paced. I’d say Skip it But, Blood+ any good?
  • Blood c the last dark review
With the logo and art style looking insanely different from the show, I think it's safe to assume Blood-C: The Last Dark will be another vibe in and of itself. I was mixed at the end of Blood-C but overall thought it was some great edgy anime with fun ideas. How it ends leaves you pissed, starving for a conclusion that I'm assuming will be different from what I would expect. The small nods back to the series aside, it's another soft reboot of the series. Sticking with the mythology from the previous entry, however, it serves very well as a sequel. Saya is back to a stone cold, brooding young woman like in Blood, which I'm, a fan of,…

This is the conclusion to a series, so I figure I should also address the series first. I know nobody’s gonna read all this, but I had a lot of thoughts and I figured I should dump them somewhere. So anyway, the series: I discovered Blood-C through an AMV, which is perhaps not the most effective method of discovering anime. For the most part, I’ve enjoyed the anime I’ve found in AMVs, but I think there’s also the obvious risk of having the anime be style over substance. Blood-C is not exactly that. The aesthetic quality is certainly stronger than the story itself, but I think it’s reductive to describe it like that. The premise is strong enough: a girl…

  • Blood c the last dark review
The first part is boring and that of course will cause interest to wane and I also think the lenght is somewhat excessive. Putting that aside the animation stays top-level and I think it will work fine for anime fans.
  • Blood c the last dark review
The followup to the spectacular Blood C anime series is this rather average movie. There's some fun action, but it doesn't add up to a lot of sense. The saving grace is the wonderful set of characters Saya meets in Tokyo. It's a good thing they're present, because Saya is here stripped of nearly all personality.
  • Blood c the last dark review
The Last Dark is the fateful conclusion to the Blood-C story, which takes a 180 from its splatterpunk TV predecessor to something more grounded. Instead of the idyllic countryside swathed in pools of blood and body parts, Blood-C goes to the big city: Neo-Ikebukuro! It’s a gorgeously animated picture (especially the opening 10-minutes) that attempts to tie things up in a neat bow. Unfortunately, it leaves much to be desired with it’s chief antagonist, Fumito. His motivations and relationship to Saya are decidedly unclear. It’s the series’ ultimate blind spot. He’s evil for the sake of giving our heroine a target. Blood-C as a whole is an ambitious piece of storytelling that’s interesting based on its creative choices alone. While the TV series will probably leave more of an impression than it’s theatrical follow up, I believe each has something to offer fans of the Blood franchise and Clamp.

i think this ended the story well and i liked how it picked up from the series! it was a lot faster paced and and everything in it felt important to the story! i loved how they brought the group of hackers into it and you were genuinly worried about what would happen to them! it fixed some of the things that were wrong with the serious but kept all the gore and atmosphere to it! overall i really liked the characters in this film and although the ending left me feeling kind of sad it also had hope and a sense of peacefulness compared to the rest of the serious and movie! will definitely be rewatching at some point! <3333

Is Blood

The English dub is surprisingly bad, but that might be because of the characters instead of the talent of the actors. It's hard to recommend "Blood-C - The Last Dark." I guess the action scenes are almost worth the price of admission... and if you saw the original show, of course this'll be worth seeing at least once.

Why did Fumito kiss Saya?

Her winning prize could not be reached as he promised so he kissed Saya, revealing how he tried and really cared about her race and curse, just before fading away. Saya then laments that, after all, Fumito left her all alone again.

Is Blood+ a prequel to Blood

It is the second anime series in the Blood franchise following the 2005–2006 series Blood+. The original 12-episode series aired during 2011, with a sequel film, Blood-C: The Last Dark releasing in Japanese theaters the following year.

Is Blood

The Chinese government has repeatedly censored anime shows that the country considers immoral, especially those that include bloody and violent scenes. Blood-C, a Japanese anime television series, has been banned since it includes a "particularly bloody" scene which may cause "extreme discomfort".
