Pella Proline (a.k.a Pella 450 series) | $$ Top-quality construction with very few bells and whistles, these windows are for the “no nonsense” customer. With wood interiors and an aluminum exterior, this line offers 10 colors and has only a few size limitations.

Why is my Pella sliding door so hard to open?

Over time, dirt and debris can get in or on the track (including the rollers), making it harder to open and close the door. To make your patio door easier to open and close, use a vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment and clean out any dirt and debris in the track below the sliding panel.

Why is Pella so expensive?

Pella is more expensive than your average window provider. This is partly due to its product offerings, which include premium materials like classic wood and pricey but durable fiberglass windows, which increase the average window cost. Pella does offer multiple vinyl window series, which are less expensive.
