You need to be careful when changing BIOS settings. You can seriously slow down your computer, or even see a black screen after all the manipulations. In these sad cases, there are several ways to return to the factory settings of the BIOS i.e. reset the current settings.

• The easiest one is to do a reset using the Load Defaults Bios command inside the BIOS settings. (you already know how to enter). The line in the BIOS menu can be called Load BIOS Setup Defaults or Load Safe-Fail Defaults (depending on the motherboard). Find the Defaults value and do a reset.
• If only a black screen is visible, open the laptop (after turning it off !!!). Find the battery responsible for CMOS memory and remove it from the slot. To make a reset, you need to wait 5-10 minutes to clear the memory. If it still doesn't work out, go to the next method.

New versions of the BIOS are created on the basis of the data on errors, fixes and data from the service centers. As a result, you can download an updated BIOS version for existing models on the developers website. It is necessary to warn that downloading the BIOS and installing it on your computer is a very dangerous procedure.

First of all, after an incorrect flashing, the computer may stop working completely. It is best to download a high-quality BIOS from the developer's website. Before flashing a laptop, you need to prepare bootable USB flash card. Need to download new version bios and copy it to a USB flash drive. Also download special utility flashing (flasher). The principle of the flashing method via DOS is as follows: reboot the laptop and start it from the flash card.

Before flashing a laptop, you need to know:

The process of updating the BIOS begins.

We need to wait until the end of the process! Do not turn off your laptop or press any keys. After the flashing is completed and the check is successful, the system will reboot.

When the laptop starts to reboot, it may shutdown for a few seconds. It should be so! Then it will turn on by itself.

After flashing, you need to go into the BIOS and set the settings to the standard working ones.
