You must be familiar with my love for lipsticks. Today, I am here with one more lipstick review on The Face Shop Moroccan Rose Collagen Ampoule Lipstick. Ingredients: My Experience with The Face Shop 14 Moroccan Rose Collagen Ampoule Lipstick:Let’s begin with packaging of the product as I am head-over-heels in love with this rose gold lipstick tube. The lipstick comes inside a matte grey and gold colored cardboard box. The box bears all product details written on it. The shade name and shade number is written on a color-coded sticker on the top of the box. Inside this box, comes a very beautiful lipstick tube. The lipstick tube is metallic with a mirror rose gold finish which gives it a luxurious and royal touch. The base of the lipstick tube has a sticker bearing the shade name and number, but they have not added any color coding patch. The twist up thing of the lipstick works pretty smoothly. The cap of the lipstick has a nice magnetic closure. Therefore, the cap fits nicely with a quick magnetic grip and does not come off in your bag. The twist-up mechanism of the lipstick works pretty smoothly. Overall, the packaging is so beautiful, innovative and travel friendly. “Moroccan Rose” is a warm-toned pink shade with some reddish undertones. The shade is bright and brightens up my face instantly. It is a gorgeous everyday shade. I love carrying this lipstick to my college and it looks very beautiful on the lips. The shade looks different on different skin tones. The lipstick contains very finely milled silver shimmer that’s not at all noticeable on the lips, they just add a nice luster to the lipstick. The finish is nice and velvety. The pigmentation of the lipstick is excellent. It gives an opaque finish in just one swipe. So, I need a second swipe to even out the edges and finish. I have mildly pigmented lips and this lipstick perfectly covers all the pigmentation of my lips. The lipstick has a very faint fragrance that is totally non bothering and barely noticeable. The texture of the lipstick is silky smooth. It is almost buttery and glides on effortlessly without causing any dragging of the lips. It never tugs or pulls on the skin The texture is lightweight and feels ultra comfortable on the lips. I really love the texture and finish of this lip color. It never clings to the dry patches of the lips and looks even on the lips. The lipstick has good moisturizing and hydrating properties. My lips never feel dry with this lipstick even if I skip a lip balm beneath. My lips stay moisturized all the time after applying this lipstick. It keeps my lips hydrated after a full meal. It plumps the lips giving them fuller appearance. The lipstick has a tendency to transfer due to its creaminess. The lasting power of the lipstick is good. It easily lasts for 5-6 hours on my lips with regular sipping of water. The lipstick survives meals too with a little fading from the center of the lips. The outer lip line smudges a little after a full meal. Removing the lipstick at the end of the day as it does not stain. Overall, I love this lipstick from The Face Shop. While browsing the THEFACESHOP store for trendy new items, I've tried and tested much of the makeup collection but the Collagen Ampoule Lipstick is by far my favorite! The brand has excelled to new levels with these luxurious, show-stopping pigments and with 16 brilliant shades to choose from, there is something for everyone! It may be difficult to choose just one but the collection mainly consists of pink, coral, orange, and red with a mix of subtle tones, deep vivid hues with darker finishes and of course bright, bold color for a pop of summer all year round. Since I love rich, glamorous tones, I couldn’t resist the beautiful red hues and the deep wine called Blood Red is perfect for fall! The formula is what really sold me because the lipsticks glide on smooth and creamy with full-coverage, intense color pay-off and a luminous satin finish. The consistency is lightweight, velvety and quite moisturizing so lips stay soft and healthy. The mild fruity scent smells great and the infusion of macadamia seed oil and flower extracts nourish and soothe parched skin. As an added bonus the formula also contains a blend of anti-aging ingredients that help reduce the appearance of fine lines so lips may appear youthful and plump. In terms of staying power, the pigment holds up for hours of smudge-proof wear but like most lipstick they do fade during meals and transfer with contact. The quality reminds me of high-end lipsticks and the plush comfort and glistening layers of hydration is something I think everyone will enjoy. If you examine some of the shades closely you will notice micro-fine shimmer particles that help create layers of vibrant radiance but once applied you can’t see or feel the fragments which I love!
